Once again, with approval from the The Royal British Legion  D-Day Wear is pleased to offer our Remember to Remember With Eternal Gratitude design. This epic creation features a DTG red poppy over a lit candle. It was created to honour/honor all those who left their homeland, never to return.

The red poppy,(Papaver rhoeas  or common poppy)  was a  native plant along much of the Western Front during the First World War and has become a powerful symbol of remembrance greatly in part to Lt. Col John McCrae's iconic Poem, In Flanders fields.

The candle represents the eternal light for all the souls who left their homelands to fight in a war who never returned and now lay to rest,  buried in a foreign land.  A lit candle serves as a way to honor/honour and pay tribute to the life of the soldier. It symbolizes the continuation of their life in spirit, and serves as a reminder and respect for the lives of those who have passed away and that the memories of them will live on.

With our past fundraising initiatives, people have enabled us to donate over  $100 THOUSAND DOLLARS of which, 54 Thousand was used to successfully commemorate the lives lost by Canadian soldiers on the beaches of Normandy during World War II. Now the fund-raising goal is focused on providing professionally trained service dogs to the members of our First Responders along with the Women and Men of the Armed Forces who suffer from P.T.S.D.
